Stop! Collaborate and Listen.

Updated: Apr 16, 2019

As a taster for my upcoming free workshop on networking and collaboration, I wanted to share the cut down version of my latest blog article which focuses on the collaboration aspect.

To me, collaboration is all about being an active member of a group that works together to accomplish a shared goal(s). The boldening of the word active is crucial here; being an active member means you are not passive (learning and listening) in conversations, interactions, meetings, etc but that you tangibly contribute to the group and its achievements of goals and/or tasks.

I consider the following behaviours and skills as being key for effective collaboration.

Effective communication

Personal authenticity

Now, for the benefits.

Enhanced individual productivity

Increased innovation

Improved personal wellness

Plus, many others!

If you’re interested in finding out more, please register for my free workshop that is taking place on the 13th April at Exeter Library between 10:00am and 12:00pm.

You can register below for your free ticket.

For those unable to attend, I will be sharing the unedited version of this blog after the 13th April.

Thanks for reading.
